The neatly arranged circular flasks were filled with liquid in the form of light green fruit juice. Several researchers held beakers and droppers in their hands and focused on experimental research.

In October of this year, we built the world's first physical light guiding technology Microalgae mixed light industrial aquaculture core laboratory in Nanming District. Guizhou Zhongming's 100 ton rain red algae production line will start trial production at the end of the year and is expected to become the world's largest rain red algae monomer production base, "said Zhao Quanqing, the administrative and personnel director of Guizhou Zhongming.

As a high-tech biotechnology company, Guizhou Zhongming focuses on the industrial cultivation of microalgae and the commercial application of microalgae special nutrients in the fields of medicine, food, health, and consumption. It settled in Nanming District, Guiyang City in November last year.



Rainy red algae is a single celled microalgae and one of the organisms with the highest natural Astaxanthin content. Natural astaxanthin is known as a "super oxidant" with rich nutritional and medicinal value, and has great potential for application in fields such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements.



The growth of Haematococcus pluvialis requires extremely strict growth environments such as light energy, temperature, and foreign microbial communities. Under agricultural production conditions, astaxanthin production is very low, which seriously restricts the development of downstream industrial chains represented by algal derived astaxanthin, "said Zhao Quanqing.

Guizhou Zhongming is based on the world's first fully enclosed industrial Microalgae aquaculture system that combines artificial light and sunlight. It maximizes the stability of the most uncertain external conditions in microalgae industrial production, providing specific growth environments for microalgae at different stages of growth, thus achieving industrial production of microalgae.

Not only that, industrialized cultivation of rain grown red algae can also utilize the photosynthesis of microalgae to achieve carbon sequestration, combined with industrial waste gas treatment, which can contribute to industrial carbon reduction and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal.



The astaxanthin extracted directly from Haematococcus pluvialis has a fishy odor and low absorption efficiency. We have developed a biological targeted enrichment and biotransformation technology. Simply put, we feed chickens a mixed feed of Haematococcus pluvialis, so that the natural astaxanthin in the algae will be concentrated in the chicken's body, and enriched in the egg yolk by improving the ester metabolism and reproductive system activity of laying hens, "said Zhao Quanqing.

This type of egg can not only be consumed directly, but also undergo further processing of the yolk to extract lecithin with high astaxanthin content, which coats the intermediate of Astaxanthin Egg Butter, solving the problems of difficulty in extracting astaxanthin, easy oxidation, difficult storage, and single downstream application products in the past.



In order to achieve a full industry chain development model, Guizhou Zhongming has also taken its own steps in the development of downstream products of astaxanthin.

We not only provide raw materials for astaxanthin, but also develop and produce a full range of downstream application products for astaxanthin, such as special diets, cosmetics, healthcare, biomedicine and other related products. Zhao Quanqing stated that Guizhou Zhongming will focus on the research and development and manufacturing of high value-added natural Astaxanthin products, and form a modern biological enterprise in the entire industry chain by extending to product manufacturing and market brand promotion.
